KingPao ("we", "us", "our") operates the KingPao customer and reseller portal. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you register, place orders, or use KingWallet and related services.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: full name, business name (optional), email address, phone number, and password (stored in encrypted form).
- Location data: business address, city, postal code, and map coordinates you provide during registration or checkout.
- Order & transaction data: products ordered, delivery method, payment method, order history, and KingWallet balance activity.
- Verification data: one-time codes sent via email or SMS for account verification.
- Biometric data: facial biometric templates (mathematical representations of facial features) and reference images collected during Face ID enrollment. This data is used solely for identity verification on outside-zone orders.
- Technical data: browser type, device information, and session logs used for security and fraud prevention.
3. How we use your information
- Create and manage your reseller account and branch assignment.
- Process orders, deliveries, pickups, and payments (including online payments and KingWallet).
- Calculate delivery zones, fees, and service availability based on your location.
- Send order updates, verification codes, and important account notifications.
- Improve our platform, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing of information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- With your assigned branch to fulfill orders and support delivery.
- With payment providers (e.g. GCash, PayMaya, card processors) when you pay online.
- With SMS/email providers to deliver OTP and transactional messages.
- When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of KingPao, users, and the public.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Data retention & security
We retain account and transaction records as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted credentials.
6. Biometric data (Face ID)
If you enroll in Face ID verification, we collect and process the following biometric data:
- Facial biometric template: a mathematical representation of your facial features (128-dimensional vector) used for identity matching.
- Reference image: a photograph of your face captured during enrollment, stored for admin review and verification purposes.
Purpose: Biometric data is used exclusively for identity verification when placing orders outside your registered delivery zone. This helps prevent fraud and ensures that only authorized users can place outside-zone orders on your account.
Storage & security: Biometric templates are stored as encrypted mathematical representations. Reference images are stored securely with restricted access. Both are linked to your customer account and protected by access controls.
Admin access: Branch administrators may view your reference image to verify your identity during order processing. Access is limited to authorized branch staff and is logged.
Duplicate detection: Your biometric template may be compared against other enrolled templates to detect and prevent multi-account abuse. Matches are flagged for admin review.
Your rights: You may request deletion of your biometric data at any time by contacting your branch or KingPao support. You may also re-register your face at any time, which will replace your previous biometric data. Deleting your biometric data will require re-enrollment for outside-zone orders.
Consent: Biometric data collection requires your explicit consent during the Face ID enrollment process. You may withdraw consent at any time by requesting deletion of your biometric data.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data where applicable under local law. Contact your branch or KingPao support to submit a request. You may also update certain profile details through your account when available.
8. Cookies & local storage
We use session cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support security features such as CSRF protection. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work if cookies are disabled.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of KingPao after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
